I find ProProfs absolutely brilliant and the best among the many quiz software I’ve tried!

Glenn Wilkinson is the head of the media studies department in St. Ronan's College, a prominent post-primary school in Lurgan, Northern Ireland. He teaches a course called “ Moving Image Arts ” at different levels.

Although Moving Image Arts is a very practical course, my students have to take exams as well in addition to making films. I needed an online tool to easily create effective exams that would complement my teaching.

After trying out many different quiz software, I settled on ProProfs Quiz Maker. This software is fantastic!

• It lets you create multiple-choice, true/false, audio/video questions, and almost any other type of question you can think of.
  
• You can embed film clips in your quiz and ask students to analyze the directing style. Students can respond via text or record a video.
  
• You can also add a timer to your exams and give out certificates to students to motivate them.
  
• Once you’ve created the exam, you can easily send the link to your students via email or teaching platforms, such as Google Classroom
• The non-essay questions can be automatically marked and for the essay types, you can type in your score and feedback comments.

As soon as a quiz gets submitted, you get a report with all the important details, such as how long it took the student to complete the quiz and which questions they got right or wrong. You can also easily find out the questions students found most difficult by looking at the reports and stats available in the dashboard.

The other thing I wanted to make an important point about is the customer service. It is excellent!

When I first started using ProProfs, I probably asked about 15 questions to the same person, and no matter what I asked, there was a timely response, sometimes within minutes. They even went back for a tricky formatting requirement I had and quickly found a solution. It's everything you need in software!
